AsuSeek Network Video Recorders
Based on a Large Multimodal Model (LMM), images and their corresponding natural language descriptions are mapped to a shared high-dimensional vector space. This enables versatile functionalities, such as open-ended text-to-image search, image-to-image search, and alarm triggering based on the presence of persons, vehicles, objects, events, or locations.

AcuSeek NVR supports natural-language-based video/image retrieval applications, allowing second-level retrieval on target images by inputting phrases or words.
- Search Broadly: AcuSeek NVR supports both high-frequency object searches in security scenarios, such as cars and non-motorized vehicles, and feature-based searches for specific objects or unusual activities.
- Search Instantly: Provides second-level search results.
- Search Accurately: Extracts features from images and aligns them with key semantic features from the search language to achieve high-precision search results.
AcuSeek: Reliable Security for Every Moment
The AcuSeek NVR relies on Hikvision’s specialized Guanlan large-scale AI model, which has been trained with extensive parameters and large collections of sample data. This technology enables the system to understand and connect information between text and images. By entering a phrase or keyword like “person on a phone call,” “white van,” or “person walking a dog,” users can prompt the system to quickly identify relevant subjects in video footage and match them accurately, allowing for fast and effective searches.
Four Key Advantages Shaping Industry Standards
Comprehensive Search Capability: The system covers a wide range of common security topics, including people, motor vehicles, and non-motor vehicles. It also enables open-ended searches for particular objects like wheeled suitcases and small carts, as well as unusual situations such as individuals not wearing helmets when required, addressing various scenario demands.
Precise Search Results: Using feature alignment technology, the system accurately understands detailed descriptions, such as “a person in a hat and black clothing” or “a child with a backpack,” which helps to significantly reduce incorrect detections.
Fast Search Response: Capable of responding within seconds, the system quickly identifies subjects across large amounts of video footage, improving the speed of emergency responses.
Flexible Search Interface: The user interface offers easy-to-access options such as “Find People,” “Find Vehicles,” and “Find Pets.” It also allows users to enter their own search terms, with a simple operational process that requires no specialized training.
